Paul V. Rost is a founding principal of Cunningham, Vogel & Rost, P.C. His principal practice involves land use and zoning issues along with other matters affecting municipalities and other governmental entities.
Paul serves as the City Attorney for Green Park, Manchester, Twin Oaks, and Wright City, Missouri, and the Village Attorney for the Village of Marlborough. Paul has also served as consultant to municipalities with regard to land use planning and regulation and has assisted in drafting and reviewing comprehensive zoning codes. He has also represented these public entities in litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. In addition, Paul has been responsible for the development and implementation of various municipal administrative procedures. Paul has experience with public/private partnerships and financing options such as tax abatement (Chapter 353), as well as Transportation Development Districts (TDDs) and Tax Increment Financing (TIF).
Paul received his B.A. degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Saint Louis University School of Law. While in law school, Paul was awarded a Faculty Fellowship, was the Notes and Comments Editor of the Saint Louis University Law Journal, and served as law clerk to the Honorable William D. Stiehl, United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. Prior to beginning his practice in Missouri, Paul was an associate attorney with Baker Donelson, in Memphis, Tennessee.​
